Nakipagpulong si Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief Chaplain Service Brigadier General father Daniel Tansip kay Philippine Army Commanding General Roy M. Galido sa Fort Bonifacio.
Ayon sa Philippine Army, layunin ng courtesy call ni Fr.Tansip sa opisyal ang pagpapaalam ng mga hakbang ng Chaplain Service upang mapangalagaan ang moral at espiritwal na pangangailangan ng bawat isang kabilang sa AFP at Philippine Army.
Kaakibat nito ang iba pang suporta na maari pang maging pakikipagtulungan ng AFP Chaplain Service sa ibat-ibang hanay ng hukbong sandatan ng Pilipinas.
“The Chief of the Chaplain Service (TCCHS) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Brig. Gen. Daniel Tansip rendered a courtesy call on the Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on March 15, 2024, during the meeting, Lt. Gen. Galido and Brig. Gen. Tansip engaged in discussions concerning the current thrusts and direction of the Chaplain Service in supporting personnel services, as well as cultivating the spiritual and moral strength of Army soldiers,” ayon sa mensahen ipinadala ng AFP sa Radio Veritas.
Noon nakalipas na linggo rin ay bumisita sa Fr.Tansip sa Philippine Navy (PN) headquarters sa Naval Station Jose Andrada sa Maynila upang isulong ang adbokasiya sa pangangalaga ng moral at pananampalataya ng mga sundalo.
Ayon sa AFP Chief Chaplain, magpapatuloy ang kanilang hanay upang mahasa din ang mabubuting asal, paggawa at katatagan para sa bawat isang kabilang sa hukbong sandatahan ng Pilipinas.
“The Navy Chief also took the opportunity to congratulate BGen.Tansip on his recent promotion and recognize the significance of his new role in leading the Chaplain Service. He likewise assured BGen. Tansip of the PN’s full support for his plans which are aimed at enhancing the Chaplain Service in the AFP, emphasizing the importance of spiritual care, guidance, and support for military personnel and their families, the AFP Chaplain Service plays a vital role in promoting the well-being, resilience, moral and ethical conduct of military personnel. It contributes to the overall effectiveness and readiness of the AFP by nurturing spiritual and moral strength within the armed forces,” ayon naman sa ipinadalang mensahe ng Philippine Navy sa Radio Veritas.
Magugunitang unang tiniyak ni Military Ordinariate of the Philippines Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio sa pagsisimula ng 2024 ang pinaigting na pakikiisa sa mga uniformmed personnel.
Ito ay upang higit na mapangalagaan at maipadama sa mga sundalo na kaisa ang mga chaplain services sa kanilang pananampalataya at iba pang espiritwal na pangangailangan.
