Ipinapanalangin ng Diyosesis ng Antipolo na nawa’y patnubayan ng Diyos ang sambayanang Pilipino, lalo na sa Bicol Region, mula sa matinding pagsubok na dala ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Kristine.
Hinihikayat ng diyosesis ang sama-samang pagtutulungan at pananalangin para sa katatagan at pag-asa ng mga lubhang nasalanta ng sakuna.
Dalangin ng Diyosesis ng Antipolo na nawa’y sa pamamagitan ng makainang pamamatnubay at pag-ibig ng Mahal na Birhen ng Kapayapaan at Mabuting Paglalakbay, ay muling mabanaagan ang kaligtasan at pag-asa sa kabila ng unos.
“O God, to whose commands all the elements give obedience,
we humbly entreat you, in the midst of fearsome storms,
to calm our hearts and turn this powerful menace
into an occasion to praise your goodness and mercy.
We pray especially for those in the Bicol Region,
who have been deeply affected by intense flooding due to tropical storm Kristine.
Grant them strength, courage, and hope in this time of great need.
Strengthen the hands of rescuers, guide them in their efforts,
and inspire others to lend a helping hand to those in distress,
so that together, we may witness your love in action.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.”
Samantala, tiniyak naman ng Antipolo Diocesan Social Action Center ang kahandaan sa posibleng maging epekto ng bagyo sa kinasasakupang Marikina City at lalawigan ng Rizal.
