“We have to accept the challenge because this is more on interconnectedness with people. Unlike as a chancellor, mapapel talaga yung sentro, kaya nga TAO yung aking thrust ngayon, acronym as TAO, and this demands are pastoral works actually, we have to exercise our pastoral charity, dealing with people, dealing with soldiers it could be a great chance, siguro makaka-adjust din tayo from paper to people” pahayag ni Father Flores sa Radyo Veritas.
“I have my plans, I acronym this as TAO, first is Transparency, specially we are working in the government and we have the resources coming from the church and records are always available even in terms of money and to utilize this money properly, proper utilization of resources. Second is Apostolate, there would be programs intended for our soldiers in terms of their value formations specially strengthening their moral life, we have to work for this to discover the charism or our soldiers. Of course our “O” is Organization. This must be an army centered apostolate so yung ginawa ko ngayon, usually we charge wedding fees, but now I have to make it free, magandang balita ito sa mga sundalo for the men in uniform, to come here for kasal, binyag, and libing is free but still donations are accepted.”
“If ever there is something that Father Harley will present to us, his program, present to us something that will enhance our lives as Christians, then I ask you my brothers and sisters, help him out, give him a hand because this is for our community. If there is something also that father Harley will not do, Father Harley will misbehave, please also help him, tell him, “Father we are not being led in a new heart,” bahagi ng homiliya ni Bishop Florencio.
Batay sa tala ng Saint Michael Chapel lineage of chaplains si Father Flores na ang pang-26 sa mga paring naitalaga bilang Post Chaplain sa St. Michael the Archangel Chapel.
