“With this difficult and dangerous time of Covid-19 Pandemic we know your worries and anxieties. You think much not of yourself but the welfare and well being of us, your family. In your heart, as father, you want to provide what we need. In your mind, you think always how to protect us, how to keep us safe and how to make us successful,” ayon kay Bishop Santos.
“But with this lockdown, quarantine and closing of companies are added burdens to you. We feel what you are undergoing, dear Tatay. You are most important to us. Like what you want us, stay safe too and take care also of yourself. We will surpass these trial and troubling time. We will all be safe and saved,” dagdag pa ng obispo.
My prayer for you:
As to honour all fathers today, o merciful and almighty God i pray that i may serve You in my father.
Help me show him in my words and in my deeds: how grateful I am to him, and how much I love him.
He is always there for me, let me always be there for him as he continues his earthly journey.
He watches over me, offering support and advice; let me in return watch over him now.
He sacrifices his youth and his strength for me; let me now take good care of him.
He gives me his unconditional love; let me love him more each day.
Let me give my time for him in his hours of need.
O merciful God, I thank you for my father and I pray for him today and always.
Keep him healthy and happy; safe from accidents and dangers; strong against temptations and able to cope up from any crisis, especially now with this Covid-19 Pandemic.
And bring him safely back home to us.
Amen.
