Tiniyak ng Diyosesis ng Balanga ang pakikiisa sa pagsusulong ng ligtas, mapayapa, malinis, matapat, patas at marangal na halalan sa May 9, 2022.
Ayon kay Balanga Bishop Ruperto Santos na siya ring Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Central Luzon Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) chairman, makakaasa ang mga kawani ng Commission on Election, Philippine National Police at Department of Education sa Bataan sa buong suporta at pag-alalay ng Simbahang Katolika upang bantayan ang kabuuang proseso ng halalan.
Partikular na tinukoy ni Bishop Santos ang Diocesan Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting ng Diyosesis ng Balanga na mangunguna sa partisipasyon ng diyosesis sa nakatakdang halalan.
“The Diocese of Balanga is one with our provincial Commission on Election, Philippine National Police and Department of Education for safe and peaceful, clean and honest, fair and free election. We assured them of our cooperation and collaboration. We offer our prayers, our participation for COMELEC re-orientation for electoral boards and assure them of our services and assistance through our Diocesan Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting for this National Election.” pahayag ni Bishop Santos.
Ibinahagi ni Bishop Santos na magsasagawa at mag-aalay ng Novena Masses ang Diyosesis ng Balanga mula ika-30 ng Abril hanggang ika-8 ng Mayo, 2022 upang ipanalangin ang paggabay ng Panginoon sa mahalagang desisyong gagawin ng bawat botante.
Ayon sa Obispo, mahalaga ang paggabay ng Espiritu Santo upang ganap na maisabuhay ng bawat botante ang mga turo at aral ng Panginoon sa pagpili ng mga karapat-dapat na mga lider ng bansa.
“The Diocese of Balanga offers Novena Masses (April 30-May to implore our almighty God to guide us to do our duty according to His will and in observance of His commandments, for the good of those people entrusted to our care and for the sanctification and salvation of all.” Dagdag pa ni Bishop Santos.
Inihayag ni Bishop Santos na ilalaan ng diyosesis sa iba’t ibang intensyon at layunin ang gagawing banal na misa kada araw upang ganap na maipanalangin ang kapayapaan, katapatan at kaayusan sa kabuuang proseso ng halalan sa ika-9 ng Mayo, 2022.

April 30: for our voting public that they go out and vote according to their conscience, free choice and on the basis of God’s Commandments.
May 1: for our provincial COMELEC officials that they may be firm, faithful and fearless in their duties
May 2: for our provincial PNP as they live up to their calling of “to protect and serve”
May 3: for our DepEd electoral boards that they will be safe, strong and with sound health
May 4: for our political candidates that they resort to God and to do His ways and follow His ways
May 5: for the supporters of those political candidates to practice mutual respect, common courtesy, good manner and right conduct
May 6: for those in Mass Media that they will be medium of truth, transparency and fair service.
May 7: for all of us to work for peace and progress, to do utmost self-renewal and self-sacrifice for God and Country and have change of heart.
May 8: for foster and fulfill the advocacies as SAFE and CHAMP May 9 election
