Shoppers, here’s your last chance to shop and help in Caritas Margins Buy and Give Expo to be held on October 7 to 9 at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center, Palm Drive, Makati City.
Start your Christmas shopping early at the three-day Buy and Give Expo with variety of local products ranging from food, home and ladies accessories, personal care products, artwork from resident inmates of penal communities cared by Caritas Restorative Justice Ministry, and other gift items and decors presented on different hubs. These products are from different marginalized community partners of Caritas Margins.
The blessing of the three-day Expo will be led by Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Manila Msgr. Jose Clemente F. Ignacio with guests, former Miss World 2012 Semi-Finalist Queenie Rehman, PLDT-SMART Foundation President Esther O. Santos, Metro Pacific Investments, Inc., PR and Communications Vice President Melody Del Rosario, Makati Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo and Caritas Margins Benefactor Nena Prieto and Ms. Emily Cruz on its opening day on October 7.
Aside from its various products from different community partners, the Expo will also feature musical performances by artists such as Voice Out, Bea Silvestre, Kulas Balisonia and Zea Santiago.
Also, during this event, the e-commerce website, www.margins.com.ph where shoppers can buy Caritas Margins products online will be launched as well as other natural products.
Within the duration of the Expo, there will be healing masses every 5pm to be presided by Caritas Manila Executive Director Fr. Anton Pascual will preside the healing Mass on the first day (October 7), Missionaries of the Beatitudes, Founder-Steward Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Hernando on the second day (October 8) and Order of the Friars Minor (OFM) Provincial secretary Rev. Fr. Dexter Toledo on the last day (October 9).
The first run of the Buy and Give Expo 4 this year was recently held at the Alabang Town Center from September 16 to 18 and on Trinoma Activity Center on September 27 to 29. Proceeds are used to support Caritas Manila’s flagship program, Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) which supports more than 5,000 youth scholars nationwide.
Caritas Margins Buy and Give Expo 4 is co-presented by Metro Pacific Investment Corporation, PLDT Home, Smart Communications Inc., Cardinal Santos Medical Centre and Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, St. Scholastica’s College, Lyceum of the Philippines, Alabang Town Centre, Radio Veritas and TV Maria.
