Urgent Appeal for Help for the earthquake stricken people in the Diocese of Kidapawan… Bishop Jose Colin M. Bagaforo, after meeting with his Social Action Staff and Vicars this morning to assess the situation after yesterday’s earthquake and aftershocks, requested me to convey this urgent appeal:
The Diocese of Kidapawan has decided to do immediate relief work to serve evacuees either directly or in partnership with LGUs in the parishes of Mlang and Tulunan and other areas, especially bringing needed water and food.
We need your kind assistance for us to do this. If it is more convenient for you to send needed help by sending financial assistance, please send your financial help to Bank:
BPI Account Name: RCB Diocese of Kidapawan Account Number: 008663-0571-55.
Brothers and sisters, let us be in solidarity with the suffering people in these areas. Let us help the Diocese of Kidapawan bring relief and comfort to the suffering people there.
Let us not forget to continue praying to the Lord for the suffering people in these areas that they may remain calm and alert, and that they may continue to care and be watchful and concerned for each other during this time of fear and anxiety.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, continue to intercede for us, and accompany and watch over us always.
