“We need knowledge; we need truth, because without these we cannot stand firm, we cannot move forward. Faith without truth does not save; it does not provide a sure footing.” (LUMEN FIDEI 24)
Radio Veritas the leading faith-based am station in the Philippines, is inviting all the Church-based institutions to be part of its Knowledge management system, Catholink to deliver assistance to the faithful for their spiritual needs.
Catholink is the Knowledge management system, of Veritas846, Radyo Totoo that provides up to date, accurate and relevant information about the Catholic Church, its ministries and pastoral services in the Philippines.
Part of its information services is a referral system where people with pastoral concerns can turn to. It also makes resource guides available online for the general public to access. Partners of Catholink are privileged with possible endorsement of the organization to individual donors, apostolic groups or funding organizations; potential connections with other ministries and service-oriented institutions of the Church may be established; and promotion of the organization on Veritas 846 website and social media accounts. It aims to make the information about the Church available to the faithful, and to link them with Church organizations to meet their pastoral needs.
Radio Veritas President, Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual stressed that Catholink is an avenue for different dioceses, parishes and Church organizations to serve more faithful with all the information that they can provide.
“As part of the station’s initiatives to expand the Church in multimedia and establish a center for information and communication, we encourage different dioceses, parishes, congregations and all other Catholic institutions to partner with Catholink. Through our joint effort we can serve more faithful and make the Catholic Church closer to them,” Fr. Pascual said.
