Ang Mabuting Balita, 13 Nobyembre 2023 – Lucas 17: 1-6
HINDI NA MAIBABALIK
Noong panahong iyon, sinabi ni Jesus sa kanyang mga alagad, “Hindi mawawala kahit kailan ang mga sanhi ng pagkakasala; ngunit nakapangingilabot ang sasapitin ng taong panggagalingan nito! Mabuti pa sa kanya ang bitinan ng isang malaking gilingang-bato sa leeg at itapon sa dagat, kaysa maging sanhi ng pagkakasala ng isa sa maliliit na ito. Kaya’t mag-ingat kayo! “Kung magkasala ang kapatid mo, pagsabihan mo, at kung siya’y magsisi, patawarin mo. Kung makapito siyang magkasala sa iyo sa maghapon, at makapito ring lumapit sa iyo at magsabing, ‘Nagsisisi ako,’ patawarin mo.”
Sinabi ng mga apostol sa Panginoon, “Dagdagan po ninyo ang aming pananalig sa Diyos!” Tumugon ang Panginoon, “Kung maging sinlaki man lamang ng butil ng mustasa ang inyong pananalig sa Diyos, masasabi ninyo sa puno ng sikomorong ito, ‘Mabunot ka, at matanim sa dagat!’ at tatalima ito sa inyo.”

Marahil, wala sa kamalayan ng karamihan sa atin ang mabigat na kahihinatnan ng paggawa ng kasalanan o ang hindi pagiging patotoo kay Kristo. Hindi natin natatanto na ang kasalanan ay mayroong panlipunang dimensyon at hindi personal na gawain lamang. Ito ang dahilan kung bakit napakabilis kumalat ang kasamaan sa kasalukuyan at mayroong malaking epekto sa kinabukasan. Isang halimbawa ay ang isang Kristiyanong pamilya kung saan ang mga anak ay laging dinadala ng kanilang mga magulang sa Simbahan tuwing araw ng linggo, ngunit ang inuugali ng mga magulang sa bahay, pati na sa labas ng bahay, ay hindi tugma sa naririnig ng mga anak sa Banal na Eukaristiya – mula sa mga pagbasa, mga homiliya, mga panalangin hanggang sa mga awit. Sana, hindi tayo mapabilang sa mga mabuti pang bitinan ng isang malaking gilingang-bato sa leeg at itapon sa dagat, sapagkat nakakalungkot mang isipin na madalas, ang epekto nito ay HINDI NA MAIBABALIK, lalo na kung mga bata ang mga biktima.
Hindi natin maaaring laging iasa sa Diyos ang pagdagdag ng ating pananalig sapagkat ito ay naitanim na sa bawat isa sa atin. Kung paano ang mga punla ay kailangang alagaan, diligan ng tama, lagyan ng pataba at bungkalin ang lupang tinaniman upang maging mga halaman, mayroon tayong Bibliya, mga Sakramento, mga espirituwal nating karanasan sa Diyos at kapwa, atbp.. TAYO ANG MAGPAPALAGO NG ATING PANANAMPALATAYA. Hindi tayo maaaring umasa sa iba na gawin ito para sa atin.
Panginoon, nawa ang aming pananampalataya ang tumulong sa amin na maging mulat sa kahihinatnan ng mga maling gawain namin at gumawa ng reparasyon sa anumang paraan!
