Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, D.D. witnessed the signing of partnership between Manila Archdiocesan and Parochial Schools Association (MAPSA) and Radio Veritas 846 for the MAPSA-VERITAS School Activation Project to expand the learning experience of the students in the context of new evangelization.
Present during the signing of the memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, were (from left): Mr. Joel Misa (Account Executive, Radio Veritas Marketing Department), Ms. May Rosales (Director, IPG Mediabrands), Ms. Ting Navarro (Director, IPG Mediabrands), Ms. Audrey Elli (Marketing Manager), Cardinal Tagle, Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual (Radio Veritas President), and Dr. Clifford Sorita (Radio Veritas Marketing and Operations Consultant).
The “MAPSA-VERITAS School Activation Project” aims to transform the academic community of various parochial schools within the Ecclesiastical Province of Manila with the values and competencies necessary in ongoing mission of the Church.
In this project, Radio Veritas shall assist all MAPSA member schools in providing technical assistance and resources for its new evangelization thrusts contained within its school curriculum, monthly school activities and school facilities.
MAPSA is a communion of Catholic Parochial Schools that promotes evangelized globalization in the light of the Church’s love and preference for the poor. MAPSA has 109 member schools within the Archdiocese of Manila, Dioceses of Paranaque, Cubao, Novaliches, Kalookan, Pasig, Malolos, Antipolo and Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay and Palawan.
Radio Veritas 846 is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. Established in 1969, the Ramon Magsaysay recipient Catholic radio station continues to be a leading social communications ministry for truth and new evangelization in the country today.
