Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based radio station in Mega Manila, is inviting the public to tune-in to the station as it recently launched its new program “Millennials in Christ”.
The program airs every second and last Saturday of the month from 8 am to 9 am which features anchors Ms. Karina Teh and Radio Veritas’ Riza Mendoza and Sheila Diño.
“Millennials in Christ” discusses everything about the millennial generation which aims to understand their identity, values and culture, as well as their faith and motivation to be active in church.
In His Holiness Pope Francis’ message to youth in advance of the next World Youth Day, to be held in Panama in 2019, he said that the Church and the Society needs the youth.
“Like the young woman of Nazareth, you can improve the world and leave an imprint that makes a mark on history, your history and that of many others, the Church and society need you,” Pope Francis said in the message, released March 21, 2017.
The program is part of the initiatives of Radio Veritas of expanding the Church in multimedia and reach a nationwide audience specially to the youth as the Catholic Church prepares for the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.
