Kinilala ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People ang pagkakatalaga kay Hans Leo Cacdac bilang Officer-in-Charge ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
“We, in the CBCP episcopal commission for the pastoral care of migrants and itinerant people, Stella Maris-Philippines, have known him as dedicated and devoted public servant, He thinks for wellbeing of migrants, speaks for their good and does for the welfare of OFWs land and sea based workers.” ayon sa mensaheng ipinadala ni Bishop Santos sa Radio Veritas.
“We give our support and extend our hands to protect and promote the rights and dignity of our dear OFWs, and eventually we hope and pray that he would be the secretary of DMW.” ayon pa sa mensahe ni Bishop Santos.
Bago ang kaniyang kasalukuyang tungkulin ay una ng naging administrator si Cacdac ng Overseas Employment Administration and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration at Executive Director ng Department of Labor and Employment – National Conciliation and Mediation Board and Agency
