Ang Mabuting Balita, 30 Oktubre 2023 – Lucas 13: 10-17
PRAYORIDAD
Noong panahong iyon, si Jesus ay nagtuturo sa isang sinagoga sa Araw ng Pamamahinga. May isang babae roon na labingwalong taon nang may karamdaman, gawa ng masamang espiritung nasa kanya. Siya’y hukot na hukot at hindi na makaunat. Nang makita ni Jesus ang babae, tinawag niya ito at sinabi, “Magaling ka na sa iyong karamdaman!” At ipinatong ni Jesus and kanyang mga kamay sa babae; noon di’y nakaunat ito at nagpuri sa Diyos. Ngunit nagalit ang tagapamahala ng sinagoga sapagkat nagpagaling si Jesus sa Araw ng Pamamahinga. Kaya’t sinabi niya sa mga tao, “May anim na araw na inilaan upang ipagtrabaho. Pumarito kayo sa mga araw na iyan upang magpagaling, at huwag sa Araw ng Pamamahinga.” Sinagot siya ng Panginoon, “Mga mapagpaimbabaw! Hindi ba’t kinakalag ninyo sa sabsaban ang inyong baka o asno at dinadala sa painuman kahit Araw ng Pamamahinga? Ang babaing ito na mula sa lipi ni Abraham ay ginapos ni Satanas sa loob ng labingwalong taon. Hindi ba dapat na siya’y kalagan kahit na Araw ng Pamamahinga?” Napahiya ang lahat ng kalaban ni Jesus sa sagot niyang ito; at nagalak naman ang madla sa mga kahanga-hangang bagay na ginawa niya.

Ang paggawa ng mabuti ay lagi dapat bigyang PRAYORIDAD. Yung babaeng pinagaling ni Jesus ay may karamdaman ng labing walong taon dahil sa masamang espiritu na nasa kanya. Labing walong taon ng buhay ng isang tao ay napakatagal. Isipin na lang natin ang isang sanggol na may karamdaman mula ng siya ay isilang hanggang sa narating niya ang karampatang gulang ng buhay niya. Naging kaugalian ito ng mga Judio ayon sa Exodo 20: 8-11 kung saan nakasulat na ang “Sabbath” ay Araw ng Pamamahinga, kaya’t walang ni sinuman ang maaaring magtrabaho. Ang problema dito ay ang kanilang interpretasyon ng “trabaho.” Para sa kanila, ang pagpapagaling ay isang trabaho at hindi gawa ng kahabagan. Layunin ng mga Batas ng Diyos ang pangalagaan tayo, at hindi ang manatili tayo sa isang kaawa-awang kalagayan. Ang mahalaga sa Araw ng “Sabbath” ay hindi lamang ang pagpapahinga. Ang pinakamahalaga sa Araw ng “Sabbath” ay ang paglaan ng araw na tayo ay nakatuon sa pagbibigay pugay sa Diyos, at ang pinakamagaling na paraan ng pagbibigay pugay sa Diyos ay ang pakawalan ang isang taong nilikha niya, ng lahat ng uri ng kahinaan.
Hangga’t hindi natin maunawaan ang malalim na kahulugan ng pagsamba, ang mga Linggo natin ay maaaring maging katulad lang ng ibang araw, sapagkat ang pagsamba sa Diyos ay hindi lamang ang magsimba tuwing araw ng Linggo, kundi ang dalhin natin ang buong buhay natin sa hapag kainan ng Panginoon, upang humingi ng awa at patawad, magbigay ng papuri at pasasalamat sa lahat ng mga biyayang ating tinanggap, at humingi ng ating pangangailangan, pati ang pangangailangan ng sambayanan. Kapag sinasabi ng pari na humayo tayo, ang ibig sabihin: ipahayag natin ang Salita ng Diyos sa wika at sa gawa saan man tayo mapunta. Kaya’t pagpunta natin sa halalan sa araw na ito, nawa’y ihalal natin ang mga kandidato na alam nating magbibigay ng PRAYORIDAD sa mga pangunahing pangangailangan ng mga tao at paninindigan ang dangal ng tao na likha sa wangis ng Diyos.
Tulad ng sabi ni Jesus sa Marcos 2: 27, “Itinakda ang Araw ng Pamamahinga para sa ikabubuti ng tao; hindi nilikha ang tao para sa Araw ng Pamamahinga.”
Panginoon, nawa’y sambahin ka namin buong buhay!
