Radio Veritas is looking for passionate Catholic faithful willing to render volunteer work during weekends this summer for the Catholink’s Road to 100 Project.
Chosen volunteers will work with the dynamic information research team of Catholink, the Catholic Knowledge Management System of Veritas 846 that provides up to date, accurate and relevant information about the Catholic Church, its ministries and services in the Philippines.
Catholink’s Road to 100 Project offers a fulfilling volunteer work of helping the faithful to meet their pastoral needs by making the information about the Catholic Church, its ministries and services available to them, thus, bringing the Church near to every Catholic faithful around the globe. Successful applicants will also be given freebies such as Veritas Shirt and volunteer’s certificate upon completion of at least16 hours of volunteer work. They may also choose their preferred schedule.
Interested volunteers must attain at least college level. They are encouraged to apply early as the station offers limited slots only. Catholink is part of the initiatives of Radio Veritas in expanding the Church in multimedia and establish a center for information and communication as the Catholic Church prepares for the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.
It aims to make the information about the Church available to the faithful, and to link them with Church organizations to meet their pastoral needs. Part of its information services is a referral system where people with pastoral concerns can turn to. Also, it caters faithful with inquiries through its live chat support accessible on its website, catholink.veritas846.ph. It makes resource guides available online for the general public to access also through its website.
Radio Veritas President, Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual encourages everyone to take part in the Catholink’s Road to 100 Project Telethon.
“Through this project, we aim to gather a handful of passionate and dedicated Catholics who can help us in the 100% completion of the data gathering of Catholink, the Church info-hub. So, I encourage everyone to take part on this project and use your free time this summer to work for God, to work for the Church.
