Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based AM station in the Philippines, will launch Catholink, the Catholic Knowledge Management System of Veritas 846 that provides up to date, accurate and relevant information about the Catholic Church, its ministries and services in the Philippines.
As part of the station’s initiatives to expand the Church in multimedia and establish a center for information and communication, Radio Veritas846 will present its Catholic information hub to its partners and collaborators on June 24, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Merced Bakeshop and Restaurant.
Catholink makes information about the Church available to the faithful, links them to Church organizations to meet their pastoral needs, consolidates different ministries and helps release pastoral statements from the Church through its website, catholink.veritas846.ph, all to deliver assistance to the faithful for their spiritual needs.
Radio Veritas President, Rev. Fr. Anton C.T. Pascual stressed that Catholink is an avenue for different dioceses, parishes and Church organizations to serve more faithful with all the information that they can provide.
“Catholink can help the Catholics from all their queries about the different Church ministries as well as requests for guidance and counseling through phone calls or online. Through this program, we aim to serve more faithful and make the Catholic Church closer to them,” Fr. Pascual said.
