SATAN’S NIGHTMARE

While still more people gathered in the crowd, Jesus said to them, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, but no sign will be given it, except the sign of Jonah. Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment the queen of the south will rise with the men of this generation and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and there is something greater than Solomon here. At the judgment the men of Nineveh will arise with this generation and condemn it, because at the preaching of Jonah they repented, and there is something greater than Jonah here.”

———-

How very blessed are we that we have come to know Jesus, and through him, God the Father, our Creator. How very blessed are we that we have come to know that the focal point of Jesus’ teachings is LOVE. The idiom “Love Makes the World Go Round” means that life becomes better when people treat each other lovingly. This expression represents the notion that love is that FORCE OF ATTRACTION that drives and sustains the entire human existence in the world.

Imagine how much worst our generation would be if all of us hadn’t known Jesus. Once we have become Christians, and strive to really follow Jesus, it will be very difficult to go back to our old ways. This is because when we sincerely follow Jesus, the Holy Spirit will work in us and TRANSFORM us into our original image of being made in God’s image and likeness. This is SATAN’S NIGHTMARE.

Let us ponder on this song written by S. Sundar Singh, I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS –

I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
Though none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
Will you decide now to follow Jesus?
No turning back, no turning back.
