The second run of Caritas Margins’ Buy and Give Expo 4, “Where buying is the new way of giving” opens today, September 27, 2016 at the Trinoma Activity Center.

The 3-day Expo which will run until September 29 showcases various Caritas Margins products from different marginalized community partners presented in different sections or hubs.
They have Christmas hub which features very timely decors, garlands and other Christmas adornments; Accessories Hub which features jewelries, and bags made out of native materials; Artworks hub with different artworks from resident inmates of penal communities cared by Caritas Restorative Justice Ministry; Religious items hub features statues and images of Saints and Mary, rosaries, spiritual accessories, etc.; Food Hub presents organic and preserved food from different partner communities; Handicrafts hub features different handiworks, decors and gift items as well as other wood crafts from various partner communities; and Home and Personal Care hub with items such as Hand Sanitizer, herbal soap, ointment and perfume among others.
Also, during this event, the e-commerce website, www.margins.com.ph where shoppers can buy Caritas Margins products online is launched as well as other natural products.
Within the duration of the Expo, there will be healing masses every 5pm followed by a Community/Micro-entrepreneurs talks. There will also be performances from artists such as Voice Out and Pitch Box, Jover’s Band and Bea Silvestre.
After this Expo in Trinoma, Caritas Margins is also set to organize the last Buy and Give Expo for this year which will be held on October 7 to 9 at the Glorietta Activity Center, Palm Drive, Makati City.
As the Social Brand to help end poverty, Caritas Margins markets products of marginalized communities & micro enterprises in the country. It also provides skills and training to the urban poor communities and marginalized sector as well as honing them to become social entrepreneurs. It supports the livelihood of micro-entrepreneurs and gives help to Caritas Manila’s flagship program, Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) with more than 5,000 youth scholars nationwide.
Buy and Give Expo 4 is organized by Caritas Margins, the Social Enterprise Marketing arm of Caritas Manila and co-presented by Metro Pacific Investment Corporation, PLDT Home, Smart Communications Inc., Cardinal Santos Medical Centre and Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, St. Scholastica’s College, Lyceum of the Philippines, Alabang Town Centre, Radio Veritas and TV Maria.
