Ang Mabuting Balita, 4 Nobyembre 2023 – Lucas 14: 1, 7-11
TAMANG PANANAW
Isang Araw ng Pamamahinga, si Jesus ay inanyayahang kumain sa bahay ng isang pinuno ng mga Pariseo; at binabantayan nilang mabuti ang kanyang mga kilos.
Napansin ni Jesus na ang pinipili ng mga inanyayahan ay ang mga upuang nakalaan sa mga piling panauhin. Kaya’t sinabi niya ang talinghagang ito: “Kapag inanyayahan ka ninuman sa isang kasalan, huwag mong pipiliin ang tanging upuan. Baka may inanyayahang lalong tanyag kaysa iyo. At lalapit ang nag-anyaya sa inyong dalawa at sasabihin sa iyo, ‘Maaari bang ibigay ninyo ang upuang iyan sa taong ito?’ Sa gayo’y mapapahiya ka at doon malalagay sa pinakaabang upuan. Ang mabuti, kapag naanyayahan ka, doon ka maupo sa pinakaabang upuan, sapagkat paglapit ng nag-anyaya sa iyo ay kanyang sasabihin, ‘Kaibigan, dini ka sa kabisera.’ Sa gayun, nabigyan ka ng malaking karangalan sa harapan ng mga panauhin. Sapagkat ang nagpapakataas ay ibababa, at ang nagpapakababa ay itataas.”

Kapag masyadong mataas ang tingin natin sa ating sarili, mabibigo tayo paminsan-minsan. Ito ay sapagkat hindi natin mapipilit ang tao na makita tayo o tayahin tayo kung paano natin gusto. Bawat tao ay may kani-kanyang pamantayan sa pag-iistima ng tao. Ang ugaling ito ay pinagmumulan ng paghambing natin ng ating sarili sa iba, lalo na ang kagustuhan na maging mas mababa sila kaysa satin. At, ang ugaling ito na nais nating maging mas mababa ang iba kaysa satin kadalasan ay sumasalamin lamang ng sarili nating kahinaan. Kung tunay tayong mas nakakahigit sa iba, wala sanang pangangailangan na bigyang-diin ito. Makikita na.
Marahil, kailangan natin laging alalahanin na tayong lahat ay pantay-pantay bilang mga tao, na may iba-ibang kakayahan mula sa Diyos. Ang halaga ng ating pagkatao ay higit pa sa mga bagay na ating natupad o narating sa buhay. Ang halaga ng ating pagkatao ay kung paano tayo sa harapan ng Diyos na naghuhukom ayon sa nasa loob ng ating mga puso. Kung tayo ay mulat dito, hindi tayo mababahala sa panghuhusga ng ibang tao. Hindi natin kailangang patunayan kahit kanino kung gaano tayo kagaling sapagkat ang lahat ng ating kakayanan ay galing sa Diyos. Ito marahil ang dahilan ng unang utos: PAGSAMBA SA DIYOS LAMANG. Ang pagsunod sa utos na ito ay laging maglalagay sa atin sa TAMANG PANANAW sa buhay. Ang KADAKILAAN ay para lamang sa Diyos at walang iba!
Ang lahat ng papuri at pagsamba ay sa iyo lamang, O Panginoon aming Diyos!
