Radio Veritas, the leading faith-based AM station in the Mega Manila, serves its newest program titled “Pandesal Forum sa Veritas”.
The program will have its first broadcast on August 17, 2017 and will air from Monday to Friday, 5:30pm to 6:00pm.
“Pandesal Forum sa Veritas,” a daily news, business feature and public service program will feature writer and realty entrepreneur Mr. Wilson Lee Flores, Wharton educated business leader Mr. George T. Siy of Integrated Development Studies Institute (IDSI) and broadcast journalist Jarkie Miranda as anchors.
Rev. Fr. Anton CT Pascual, Radio Veritas President, officially announced its partnership with Kamuning Bakery Café to launch the “Pandesal Forum sa Veritas”.
“Listeners will now be able to listen and join the Pandesal Forum which hopes to help elevate the quality of public debate and discourse regarding current affairs, socio-economic and political issues, reform needs and other diverse topics,” Fr. Pascual said.
“Pandesal Forum sa Veritas,” is part of the initiatives of Radio Veritas through its Veritas 500 program that aims to expand the Church in multimedia and reach a nationwide audience as the Catholic Church prepares for the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.
The non-partisan, informal, tertulia-inspired, “Pandesal Forum” started at the 78-year old Kamuning Bakery Cafe in Quezon city in 2015, where newsmakers and leaders dialogue with media to highlight unpopular or neglected topics.
