Ang Mabuting Balita, 18 Nobyembre 2023 – Lucas 18: 1-8
WALANG SAYSAY
Noong panahong iyon, isinaysay ni Jesus sa kanyang mga alagad ang isang talinghaga upang ituro sa kanilang na dapat silang manalanging lagi at huwag manghinawa. “Sa isang lungsod,” wika niya, “may isang hukom na hindi natatakot sa Diyos at walang taong iginagalang. Sa lungsod ding iyon ay may isang babaing balo na punta nang punta sa hukom at humihingi ng katarungan. Tinanggihan siya ng hukom sa loob ng ilang panahon. Ngunit nang malaunan ay nasabi nito sa sarili: ‘Bagamat hindi ako natatakot sa Diyos ni gumagalang kaninuman, igagawad ko na ang katarungang hinihingi ng babaing ito sapagkat lagi niya akong ginagambala – baka pa ako mainis sa kapaparito niya,’” At sinabi ng Panginoon, “Narinig ninyo ang sinabi ng masamang hukom. Hindi ipagkakait ng Diyos ang katarungan sa kanyang mga hinirang na dumaraing sa kanya araw-gabi, bagamat tila nagtatagal iyon. Sinasabi ko sa inyo, agad niyang igagawad sa kanila ang katarungan. Ngunit pagdating ng Anak ng Tao sa daigdig na ito, may makikita kaya siyang mga taong nananalig sa kanya?”

Ang ilan sa atin, kapag hindi naipagkakaloob ang hinihingi natin sa Diyos, ay tumitigil sa pagdarasal. Kapag ang Dasal ay walang kasamang Pananalig, ito ay WALANG SAYSAY. Bagama’t yung hukom ay hindi natatakot sa Diyos at walang taong iginagalang, mayroong nananalig sa kanya ang babaeng balo, at alam niya na kung hindi siya titigil sa pagpunta sa hukom, bibigay din ito balang araw.
Tinuturuan ba tayo ni Jesus na mangulit sa Diyos at pilitin siyang pagbigyan tayo sa ating dinarasal? Marahil ang kanyang sinasabi ay huwag tayong mawalan ng pananalig sa Diyos at kapag hindi natin natatanggap ang ating hinihiling, kailangan nating tandaan na tanging ang Diyos lamang ang nakakaalam ng lahat. Samakatuwid, alam niya kung ang hinihiling natin ay hindi makabubuti sa atin, o kung ibibigay niya ito sa tamang panahon, o kung mayroong iba pang mas mabuti ang nakalaan para sa atin.
Panginoon, ikaw ang nakakaalam ng lahat at ang pinaka-makapangyarihan! Ipinagkakatiwala namin sa iyo ang aming buhay!
