WASTED LIFE
When Jesus saw a crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other shore. A scribe approached and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” Jesus answered him, “Foxes have dens and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to rest his head.” Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, let me go first and bury my father.” But Jesus answered him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead.”

There goes a saying: If we wish to go to an event, we will do everything to be able to attend. But, if we do not wish to go, we will make a hundred reasons not to attend. It is like saying: If we wish to follow Christ, we will do everything to be able to follow him. But, if we do not really wish to follow him, we will make a hundred reasons not to follow him.
Are we SEASONAL christians? Is Christianity just a “flavor of the month” for us? If we are, then we are what are called NOMINAL christians. If we wish to live a truly meaningful, fruitful, peaceful and happy life, our actions or the way we live, have/has to be consistent with our beliefs and principles. Otherwise, it will bring us confusion and great difficulty. It will be more or less, a WASTED LIFE.
Lord, we wish to follow you wherever you go!
